The extrusion (meltblown) and staple fibre (airlaid) nonwovens we manufacture in our on-site production facility are used in the production of vacuum cleaner bags and medical care products as well as for downstream processing in various industries.

Flexible manufacturing
of nonwovens

We use a variety of materials, layers and finishing processes to create nonwovens with many different properties designed to fulfil their intended purpose. To that end, we can combine up to ten layers to create laminates. This manufacturing process makes our nonwovens incredibly versatile and ensures that they can be used in various areas ranging from the medical sector to the automotive industry, and even in food production and processing.

Modern production processes

eurofilters is an expert in melt blowing, which is a process for manufacturing microfibre and nanofibre nonwovens with excellent filter properties. The fine structure of meltblown nonwovens makes them particularly suitable for filtering even the tiniest of particles. By charging the material electrostatically, we can achieve even better filtering performance.

These properties make melt blowing a very adaptable process: we use the microfibre material not only for our vacuum cleaner bags but also in our products for the life sciences sector, which include medical face masks, for example.

Vacuum cleaner bags

We are an experienced manufacturer of 3D vacuum cleaner bags and flat bags which we customise to fit all types of vacuum cleaners – cylinder vacuum cleaners, stick vacuum cleaners, tub vacuum cleaners and robot vacuum cleaners. The very specific features of our bags help to optimise the suction power of vacuum cleaners and can be relied upon to contain dust and dirt particles inside the bag. Our vacuum cleaner bags can even be refined with features to absorb odours or emit fragrances.

Medical care products

Besides the material for medical masks, we also manufacture medical compresses, dressings and blood filtration products for use in the medical industry and the life sciences sector. Regular materials tests measure air permeability and filter effect to ensure that the specifications of applicable medical classifications are being met.

Filtration fleece for downstream processing

We also supply our extrusion and staple fibre nonwovens for downstream processing in various industries. We work in partnership with our customers to develop tailor-made solutions that are designed to meet the specific requirements of the application at hand. Furthermore, in the future, our filtration fleece will be made with a high percentage of recycled materials.
